Homeschooling parents may find that their child is advancing to a level where they no longer feel confident in their own knowledge of the subject matter. Hiring a tutor or mentor to help your kids in these areas is a great way to allow your children the opportunity to work with someone else that is more experienced in the subject.
Consider giving your child the opportunity to attend a local college or high school for some specific courses you simply are not able to offer at home. These may be the advanced electives that kids love such as home economics, shop, public speaking or other courses. Most colleges and high schools will allow kids to come in for these electives.
