Try to find a fellow student that you can make into a study buddy to help you to prepare for the SAT with SAT lessons. Find someone that you will actually take the time to study with and not just someone you wan tot hang out with as you will not be able to focus on the task.
Try to determine to what extent you will need SAT lessons before you go out and buy a tutorial to help you. Try taking a few free practice tests to see where you are so as to not over prepare and end up not doing as well because you over-thought your needs.
Go to your local library and inquire about SAT lessons. You might find out that they have study groups that meet there and might allow you to join. The only way to know is by asking or looking into the postings they have to find out more about the groups.
