A great way to learn how to swim is through swim camp. During the summer months, there are a variety of camps available to you locally as well as through overnight camps that children to adults can take that will help them to learn to swim and advance through it.

Swimming lessons can be taught to adults that don't know how to swim. If you are not able to swim but would like to learn, find out if your local recreational facility offers any training programs for adults specifically, so that you don't feel strange in a group with children.

For those that are teaching swimming, the goal can be to find the right type of environment to teach in. Today, some elementary and high schools are teaching swimming. Recreational facilities, swimming pools, swimming clubs and many other areas can be openings too.
