Guitar and Bass Lessons with Mike Overly (937) 256-9344 Mike Overly has a University Degree in Music Composition and graduated with music's highest honors Pi Kappa Lamda. He also received National Academic honor membership in Phi Kappa Phi. He is the celebrated author of Guitar and Bass EncycloMedia, and is an international performer, superior music instructor, creator of the hit cable TV show Guitar Forum, and endorser of his signature series "Mike Overly Custom" Schaefer guitar. He has had the privilege of studying with many, including: Joe Pass, Larry Carlton, Peter Sprague, Gene Bertoncini, Jimmy Wyble and Lee Ritenour. He has recorded or toured with Tommy Boyce, Carol King, Blue Oyster Cult, Steely Dan, Guess Who and many others. Mike is a member of MENC: The National Association of Music Educators and his extensive teaching experience continues to influence fretboard learners around the world.
