Semi-private or very small group lessons can be a good mid-price option for swimmers that cannot afford private lessons but would like more personalized attention and support than in large group lessons. Not all programs offer semi-private lessons however many private pools will offer this option.
The American Red Cross is the most recognized training program for children and adults across the United States. Most YMCA and public pools will offer Red Cross level training that is transferable anywhere where the program is taught.
Before signing your child up for a swimming lessons or series of lessons be sure to find out what the cancellation policy is and how many lessons the child can miss or may make up before having to repeat the class to take the level test.
